Man, 25, docked for assaulting 10-year-old young lady
Benin – The police on Tuesday summoned 23-year old Friday Ibe under the steady gaze of Evboriaria Officers' Court for professedly having sexual relations with of a ten-year old young lady. The Prosecutor, Sgt. Thomas Ojo, told the Court that the charged conferred the offense on Aug. 6, 2015, at 4p.m. at No. 107, Igun St., off East Roundabout street in Benin. He said that the denounced unlawfully had sex with the young lady against her desire. He said that the offense negated Area 31 (2) of the youngster Right Act, 2003. The denounced however argued not blameworthy to the charge. The Justice Mrs J.O. Ejale allowed the blamed safeguard in entirety for N100, 000 with a surety in like total who must be productively utilized and suspended the case till Aug. 4, for hearing.
